Our year in review – 2017

Our amazing blog….NOT…

Sometime in 2016, I came up with our website name and basic design.  I was excited as I dreamt of  amazing daily posts that would keep my readers at the edge of their seats.  It would be so cool to share all the educational experiences with our friends and the plethora of followers on my one of kind blog.  I also dreamt of monetizing this amazing blog so we could fund our adventures with multiple income streams.

However, it has come to my attention over the last year that I suck at writing, keeping a schedule and getting anything done beyond caring for my family’s most basic needs.  Keeping up with this blog has proven to be far more difficult than I had anticipated.  We have had so many amazing experiences along the way but they are all locked away in my memory banks and on the hard drive of my computer.

With the normal introspection that comes with the start of every new year, I made my list of new habits and goals for 2018.  One of those goals was to publish one new blog post each week.  If I am successful in this goal, this website will be filled with 52 blog posts as of Dec 31, 2018.  If I am not successful, there will be another post similar to this one, a quick, narrative summary of our amazing year.

So with that said, here is the summary of the 2017 adventure, as found on our facebook page (which I update frequently btw):

As 2017 comes to a close, we reflect back on this amazing year that the Lord has blessed us with. In this year we have traveled from Florida to Connecticut, Connecticut to Canada, Canada to California.   Check out our Road Trippers Map here to see where we have been:
