Divine Appointments

 

We have all had those moments in our lives that seem to be much deeper then a simple coincidence.  Those moments that just do not make any sense at all.  In faith circles, we often refer to these moments with terms such as: Godincidences,  God Winks, Divine Appointments or Divine Alignments.    Over the course of my 50 years on Earth, I have certainly had my share of Godincidences.  However, none of my past experiences that I have filed away as divine appointments, even come close to the details of the story I would like to tell you about now. Life on Mission

How life on mission started….

When living fulltime in a RV was just a dream in my head, all I thought about was traveling around the country with my family.  It wasn’t until a few months before our launch date that both Frank and I had a strong sense of a different purpose.   Suddenly both of us felt as if God was asking more of  us.  The pull to serve others along  the way weighed heavily on our hearts.   There was no clear direction on what ministry on the road would look like when we left on the journey.    As my husband often says “We couldn’t just sit around the campfire and roast marshmellows for the rest of our lives”.     Leaning and trusting that the Continue reading Life on Mission

G.A.I.N.-Global Aid International Network

 

Being blessed to personally know a missionary family who have devoted their lives to serve at G.A.i.N., we were offered a private tour of the facilities.   The impression this organization left on our hearts was HUGE, inspiring us to return to rural Pennsylvania to serve at one of their week-long packing events.   The simplicity of what they do in the day to day operations of the ministry is what stuck my heart strings the most.   The building is simple, rather large and seems to run like a well oiled machine.  Continue reading G.A.I.N.-Global Aid International Network
